With theme parties, rave music, jaw-dropping acts, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, international DJs and artistes, Scintillate 2010 will come to life on the 30th of July till the 1st of August at Amaya Reef, Hikkaduwa. Event Connections Private Limited, in partnership with French Seduction, a world renowned international musical concept that celebrates dance, sharing and warmth in the most exotic venues of the world, will bring down some of the best acts in nightlife entertainment. Master spinners from party capitals of the world, such as DJ Fameluck, Miss Kiyami, DJ Majestic, DJ Mouss Mc Eklips and DJ MisoDisko will be on board to spin out under the stars along with The Coyote Girls and Fu & Keemo to heat up the dance floors with their moves. The lineup includes the KISS FM Entourage who will be spinning on all three days.

With the dawn of a peaceful environment, the opportunities to promote tourism have risen significantly for the private sector. Tourist arrivals are expected to skyrocket this year. Scintillate 2010 promises to stimulate the tourism industry in the region as well as enhance the ‘Hikka’ reputation as the entertainment hub of the Southern Coast. Deccan Aviation – logistics partner for the event – has already promoted the event in India, Maldives, Singapore and Russia. Over 2500 upper end guests are expected to attend the three day event, which is sure to boost the local businesses as well as fill up the hotels and resorts in the surrounding areas.

The party kicks off at 6pm with “The White Party (Sunset Beach)” cocktails on a poolside backdrop overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. The entire pool area will be transformed with a pure white theme with ambient music and funky house tunes spun out by the hottest DJs occasionally accompanied by a saxophonist and percussionists.

Picking up from where the White Party wound down at Sunset Beach, Scintillate “French Seduction” takes off from 10pm up until sunrise, bringing a touch of elegance and fashion into the mix. A nonstop rave atmosphere builds up as the international DJ’s play a mix of upfront house, progressive, Top 40 and hip hop music. A VIP area will be available for those who care for privacy and exclusivity. An extra dose of sparkle and glamour will be provided by fire throwers, neon dancers and flaring bartenders.

Day two of Scintillate 2010 will wash ashore much love and much anticipation for an eventful night. “Summer Loving” is all this and more for one to enjoy down by the golden beaches of Hikkaduwa. State of the art laser lighting will add to the perfect mood for the most modern high energy dance party venue in Hikkaduwa. A host of international DJs will dish out the finest tech house grooves alongside Ibiza’s fiercest dance troupe. A host of Fire dancers and Neon dancers will add more spark to the night with their stupendous skills.

Sunday will be dedicated to “Soul Funk Sessions” – a `recovery’ session of funk and soul music featuring Sri Lanka’s own DJ Tariq and Misodisko spinning till sunset. Guests can enjoy a full brunch with local and international delicacies to suit everyone’s pallet.
